“Football is ours” — (print series) was an attempt to bring back to the Brazilian Football, the raw textures and values that was, responsible for turning this sport into a soul of the entire nation.
Football can only be played with a bloody heart. With the 7,000 liters of blood pumped everyday in a heart also comes the energy that makes the football rolls around the globe. To engage the 2013’s Wieden+Kennedy São Paulo Fifa Tournament we designed a series of posters about highlighting the passion of the game.
“Memories” (Wild Poster) was project to transform a personal memory into art piece. The big goal was to enter people’s brain and seed a ramdom moment with the hope to create a collective consciousness of an aleatory Football act.
Photography plays a fundamental role in Football. Every kid’s bedroom walls hang a hero that shapes their aesthetics development carried through life. @1981futbol started a journal series to explore different takes on how Football is been portrayed for generations to come.
Brazil lost by 7x1 against Germany. But let’s talk about the “1”. Before the World Cup 2014 even started it was clear the corruption was happening in all four corners of Brazil. The love of Football was highjacked to satisfy few ruthless ambition people. The Country was divided about hosting the WC. So, since the Tournament was about started anyways, we decided to spark the passion back with the idea to at least protect an important part of Brazil’s identity, the Football. “Bota pra F******” was a call to action for the Brazilian National team to bring the 6ths star. It didn’t happened.
Biro-Biro vs Ronaldinho—In 2007 Coca-Cola Brazil needed a teaser video to launch their new Football Campaign. We thought could funny to mock Nike’s Best Player at the time.
During every Copa America 2021 match, 125 Brazilians died of Covid-19. We started a movement to whoever wins the tournament should not lift the cup.
